Throughout the history of art, the male nude has always been an object of expression, from the symbolic to the most purely erotic. At present, the artists working with the male figure and homo-eroticism, suffer from the lack of an exclusive space dedicated to this sector of art, despite the wide range of possibilities that exist today to spread news and information. Situation that the editor of this publication has suffered firsthand, this is why Noisy Rain Online Magazine is established in 2011 to give this sector an exposure possibility that allows artists' original works to be seen by art lovers and artists around the world.
Noisy Rain magazine is a free electronic publication which publishes six issues per year. Edited and laid out by Visual Artist E. Hirano with the help of volunteers and contributors who make this publication possible. Noisy Rain gay art project meets a unique need in current art's publications, with a frank, honest and beautifully designed product that inspires the artist and makes the reader to enjoy every page.
If you want to show your artwork in the Noisy Rain Online Magazine, please visit the art submission section.
Mr. E. Hirano created the Noisy Rain magazine back in 2011 and since then he is the editor and designer behind every issue. He has managed to put together with this project the talent of artists from around the globe, creating a meeting point for artists both renowned and emerging. He devotes his time and work to keep this showcase open for every artist who is interested in highlighting the male figure in art, as well as artists who approach the subject of interpersonal relationships between men, both as an object of study and analysis through art or as a symbol of beauty, power and admiration.
Within the editorial line he has worked as an editor, consultant, and designer of art publications as well as other publications of interest to the gay community in Mexico.
He has also worked as a professor in the fields of film, history and appreciation and study of art.
Noisy Rain is a non-profit digital publication that supports artists that work with the male figure as a principal subject in their art. If you want to support our work in return, please visit our SHOP so we can continue with our gay art project.
